Run ten enchanting kilometers through downtown Salzburg and enjoy the whole package: Be part of an international running festival, soak up the unique atmosphere of an international marathon event, let yourself be motivated by the varied music groups along the running route and shine with the exclusive finisher medal of the running festival the city of Mozart around the neck with the sun to bet.
Registration is open from August 24, 2023 – April 28, 2024.

Starting documents, clothing, showers
Get your starting documents from the SportMall in the Eisarena Volksgarten from – Hermann-Bahr-Promenade 2.
Friday, May 10, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Fill in the back of your race number and attach it correctly to the outermost layer of clothing on your torso (front). The timing chip is integrated in the start number.
During the competition you can hand in your belongings at the clothing drop-off point in the arcades of the University of Salzburg (entrance Furtwängler Garden). Only the Sparkasse Starter Package with your starting number will be accepted.
Our experienced team does its best - but we assume no liability in the event of loss.
You can leave other bags and suitcases in the designated tent, which is looked after by the event team, for a fee of 5 euros.
Showers are available after your race at “Sportzentrum Mitte“ (Ulrike-Gschwandtner-Straße 6). You will reach them in a ten minutes walk from the finish area of the Salzburg Marathon.

Age groups M/W U20/U18 & every five years from 30
Only the overall ratings for women and men are awarded.

Arrival & Parking
We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
excellent train connections from the Westbahn line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol. Good connection to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
Free arrival with the marathon train from the Salzburg mountain districts (on presentation of the start number or confirmation of registration).
International accessibility via Salzburg Airport.
You can also use public transport to get around the city on the weekend of the event. Your start number and your registration confirmation (start pass) are valid as a ticket in the city area fare zone on the competition days.
If you are arriving by car, we recommend the Park & Ride zones at the start and changing to the O-Bus in the city area. Paid parking garages (e.g. Mönchsberggarage) are available close to the center.
Timing and scoring
Our partner will take care of the timing Datasport carried out.
The timing chip is integrated in the start number (RFID UHF transponder Mylaps). It must not be kinked or damaged under any circumstances.
Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the race number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.
Closing date for the Hervis-10K Salzburg CityRun is 9:45 a.m. (1:30 hours running time)
In addition to the classic ratings (ranking according to gross times), the Hervis-10K CityRun offers an age-graded ranking.
Information about the start
The starting signal for the Hervis-10K CityRun will be on May 12, 2024 at 8:15 am.
The start is in the Hofstallgasse (running direction opposite to the later finish).
The starting procedure is safest for everyone if you set yourself up according to your performance expectations. Those who aim for a fast pace are at the front, those who run at a leisurely pace are further back.
Medical supplies
The Running Festival of MozartCity offers comprehensive medical care in the finish area and on the route.
Several refreshment and refreshment stations with mobile sanitary facilities are set up along the route.
