Run through the Salzburg Old Town Let’s set off together to discover its unique delights. On the Old Town Delights Run, we’ll set off together and explore selected checkpoints in the Old Town. A reward will be waiting for you at the finish line. And there’s no time pressure!

The route

From 10:30 am starts the competition starts in the Volksgarten, where you can pick up your bib. You will then have enough time to complete all the checkpoints. At the last checkpoint, all participants will receive a reward and a cosy get-together!

How can I take part in the Old Town Fun Run?

Register for the Altstadt Genuss Run via our partner Datasport’s registration platform. Registration is not yet open.

What is included in the entry fee?

You’ll be given a race number identifying you as a participant in the Altstadt Genuss Run. You’ll also receive a high-quality fabric bag. At the various stations along the route, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to special locations and a range of attractive goodies and special offers.

What is the distance of the Altstadt Genuss Run?

There is no set route for the Altstadt Genuss Run, and therefore no timekeeping. You can choose your own route, provided you pass through all the checkpoints. The focus is entirely on enjoying yourself and sharing the experience!

How do I know which checkpoints I need to pass at the Altstadt Genuss Run?

When you register, you will be given access to the map. There you will find a navigation to the stations. Neither a download nor an extra registration is necessary!

Do I have to pass through all the checkpoints on the Altstadt Genuss Run?

No. It's up to you which goodies and experiences you include in your route.

Where can I pick up my race number?

You can pick up your race number before the race in the Volksgarten from 9.30am.

How do I get to the Volksgarten?

We recommend travelling by public transport. The bus lines are 6, 12 and 7. You can find details on how to get here under the following link.
