Information

Registration Information – Registration through a charity partner

  • Buy your starting number from the charity partner of the Running Festival of MozartCity of your choice.
  • Define your entry fee yourself - it is the direct donation for the charity initiative (minus the production costs of the start number of approx. 7 euros)
  • Minimum price for a starting number: 27 euros
  • Activate your registration by photographing the QR code on the start number and filling out the form.

  • Registration is open from August 24, 2023 – April 28, 2024
  • Registration is via our registration platform Datasport away.
  • Entry fee/registration fee (all processing and service fees are included in the entry fee):
    27 euros (until April 28, 2024)
    37 euros (registration on site)
  • Registration via form: Please fill in correctly the registration form for the OneMileForASmile send it by e-mail to us.
  • Less the production costs of the start number (approx. 7 euros), your entry fee goes into a donation pot, which is divided proportionately among the charity partners.
  • Enhance your experience at One Mile For A Smile and book to register:
    • Medal engraving (12 euros when booking in advance)
    • Bib-Bits magnets (start number holder) of the running festival in the city of Mozart – four pieces (12 euros)
    • Functional shirt for the running festival in the city of Mozart (New Balance, 32 euros)

Starting documents

  • Get your starting documents from the SportMall in the Eisarena Volksgarten from – Hermann-Bahr-Promenade 2.
    • Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m
    • Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
  • Activate your registration via the QR code on your start number. Assemble correctly on the outermost layer of clothing on your torso (front). The timing chip is integrated in the start number.

Arrival & Parking

  • We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
    • excellent train connections from the Westbahn line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol. Good connection to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
  • You can also use public transport to get around the city on the weekend of the event. Your start number and your registration confirmation (start pass) are valid as a ticket in the city area fare zone on the competition days.
  • If you are arriving by car, we recommend the Park & Ride zones at the start and changing to the O-Bus in the city area. Paid parking garages (e.g. Mönchsberggarage, Barmherzige Brüder) are available close to the center.
  • IMPORTANT: There are no parking spaces available at the event site in the Volksgarten.

Timing and scoring

  • Our partner will take care of the timing Datasport carried out.
  • The timing chip is integrated in the start number. It must not be kinked or damaged under any circumstances.
  • Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the race number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.

Information about the start

  • The starting signal for the One Mile For A Smile will be on Saturday, May 11th at 6:30 p.m.
  • The start is in the Hundertwasserallee in the Volksgarten Salzburg.

Medical supplies

  • The One Mile For A Smile - Inclusion Run provides comprehensive medical care in the finish area.
  • A catering and refreshment station is set up in the finish area, and mobile sanitary facilities are also available.

  • Salzburg Cityguide closely accompanies the happenings around the Salewa "Gipfel Treffen" and captures hundreds of impressions and emotions.
