The 18th Salzburg Women's Run offers an ideal stage for a running and walking experience together, for a special experience and also as an active preparation for further goals at the running festival in the city of Mozart - and all this in the high-quality setting of an international marathon event.
Experience the Salzburg Women's Run together and, in addition to the individual classification, take part in the 3-person team and/or group classification and take part additionally to the individual classification in the team ranking.
As in previous years, the Running Festival in Mozart City offers a combined ranking with the Hervis-10K CityRun to. Simply register for both competitions and you will automatically be included in the combined ranking.
The online pre-registration for the Salzburg Women's Run 2027 is not yet open.
Registration takes place via the registration platform of our Partners Datasport away.
Information on entry fee/registration fee will follow (all processing and service fees are included in the entry fee)

Minimum age for participation is birth year 2016.

Starting documents, clothing drop-off & showers
Get your racing documents from the SportMall in the Volksgarten ice arena – Hermann-Bahr-Promenade 2, 5020 Salzburg. Friday, 15 May 2026 from 1-6 pm
Fill in the back of your race number and attach it correctly to the outermost layer of clothing on your torso (front). The timing chip is integrated in the start number.
You can hand in your belongings during the race in the designated tents in the Volksgarten between 18:30 and 20:45. Only the starter package labelled with your start number will be accepted.
Our experienced team does its best - but we assume no liability in the event of loss.
Changing rooms and showers are available after the finish in the neighbouring Volksgartenbad - between 7:30 pm and 9 pm.

General class & U20
The general class, the U20 rating as well as team and group ratings plus specials are awarded.
The minimum age for participation is 2016.
Arrival & Parking
We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
Excellent train connections from the western railway line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol.
Good connections to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
International accessibility via Salzburg Airport.
If you are arriving by car, we recommend the Park & Ride zones at the start and changing to the O-Bus in the city area. Paid parking garages (e.g. Mönchsberggarage, Barmherzige Brüder) are available close to the center.
Mönchsberg car park: Have your parking ticket punched at the PUMA Salzburg Marathon information stand, then you can enjoy reduced prices: 4.70 euros for three hours, 7 euros for six hours, 8.50 euros for eight hours.
IMPORTANT: There are no parking spaces available at the event site in the Volksgarten.
Timing and scoring
Our partner will take care of Datasport carried out.
The timing chip is integrated in the bib number. It must not be damaged under any circumstances.
Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the bib number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.
In addition to the classic ratings (ranking according to gross times), the Salzburg Women's Run offers an age-graded ranking.
For reasons of fairness, there is a walking competition "Woman walks!" by Bio Austria not a classic rating, as no walking judges are used. There is an alphabetical order, at the award ceremony prizes will be raffled among all participants.
Information about the start
The starting signal for the Salzburg Women's Run will be given at 7:15 pm on 15 May 2026. Five minutes later, the participants will start at "Woman walks!" by BioAustria.
We ask all participants to line up according to their performance level. The faster runners at the front, the walkers at the back. This is the only way to optimise the start procedure.
The start is in the Hundertwasserallee in the Volksgarten Salzburg.
The starting procedure is safest for everyone if you set yourself up according to your performance expectations. Those aiming for a fast pace in front, those at a leisurely pace further back.
Medical supplies
The Running Festival of MozartCity offers comprehensive medical care in the finish area.
A food and refreshment station is set up in the finish area, and mobile sanitary facilities are available. Participants in the Salzburg Women's Run can use the showers in the Volksgarten outdoor pool.
