The 16th Salzburg Women's Run offers an ideal stage for a running and walking experience together, for a special running day and also as an active preparation for further goals at the Running Festival of Mozart City – all in the high-quality setting of an international marathon event.
Would you like to participate in the Salzburg Women's Run on Friday night and in the 10K Salzburg City Run on Sunday morning - and thus enjoy the flair of the Running Festival in Mozart City twice as much? Then register directly for the Combined Ranking and the entry fee is reduced by 2 euros for both competitions. With just one registration you will automatically be assigned two bib numbers. This offer is only valid until the end of the pre-registration period (April 28, 2024).

Starting documents and clothing delivery
Get your starting documents from the SportMall in the Eisarena Volksgarten from – Hermann-Bahr-Promenade 2.
Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m
Fill in the back of your race number and attach it correctly to the outermost layer of clothing on your torso (front). The timing chip is integrated in the start number.
You can leave your things in the designated tents in the Volksgarten during the competition. Only the starter package with your start number will be accepted.
Our experienced team does its best - but we assume no liability in the event of loss.

General class & U20
The general class, the U20 rating as well as team and group ratings plus specials are awarded.

Arrival & Parking
We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
excellent train connections from the Westbahn line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol. Good connection to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
International accessibility via Salzburg Airport.
You can also use public transport to get around the city on the weekend of the event. Your start number and your registration confirmation (start pass) are valid as a ticket in the city area fare zone on the competition days.
If you are arriving by car, we recommend the Park & Ride zones at the start and changing to the O-Bus in the city area. Paid parking garages (e.g. Mönchsberggarage, Barmherzige Brüder) are available close to the center.
IMPORTANT: There are no parking spaces available at the event site in the Volksgarten.
Timing and scoring
Our partner will take care of the timing Datasport carried out.
The timing chip is integrated in the start number. It must not be kinked or damaged under any circumstances.
Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the race number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.
In addition to the classic ratings (ranking according to gross times), the Salzburg Women's Run offers an age-graded ranking.
For reasons of fairness, there is a walking competition "Woman walks!" by Bio Austria not a classic rating, as no walking judges are used. There is an alphabetical order, at the award ceremony prizes will be raffled among all participants.
Information about the start
The starting shot for the Salzburg Women's Run will be on May 10, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. Five minutes later, the participants start "Woman walks!" by BioAustria.
The start is in the Hundertwasserallee in the Volksgarten Salzburg.
The starting procedure is safest for everyone if you set yourself up according to your performance expectations. Those aiming for a fast pace in front, those at a leisurely pace further back.
Medical supplies
The Running Festival of MozartCity offers comprehensive medical care in the finish area.
A catering and refreshment station is set up in the finish area, and mobile sanitary facilities are also available. The participants in the Salzburg Women's Run can use the showers in the Volksgarten outdoor pool.
