Der Salzburg 10K Jedermannlauf ist die perfekte Bühne für dich, deine Form und Fähigkeiten auf einer schnellen und AIMS vermessenen 10km-Strecke zu testen! 

The natural area of the Volksgarten, close to the city center, is the ideal venue for the traditional Salzburg City Run. The backdrop of the city of Mozart and the exclusive Jedermannlauf finisher medal complete a wonderful running experience.

Start & finish in the Volksgarten

The start and finish of the Salzburg 10K Jedermannlauf are in the Volksgarten near the center of Salzburg. After an initial lap through the Volksgarten, the route leads south along the Salzach and back through the center on the opposite side. The turning points are the Hellbrunner Bridge in the south and the Karolinen Bridge in the north. The route is flat and has long straights. All routes in the Jedermannlauf are measured according to the specifications of World Athletics and AIMS, and the event is also entered in the Global Calendar.

  • Registration via form: Please fill out the registration form for the Salzburg 10K completely and carefully and send it by e-mail to us.
  • Eine Ummeldung war bis einschließlich Donnerstag, 26. September 2024 möglich. Schreib uns an office@salzburg-marathon.at und gib uns die Daten des oder der Läufer*in, der oder die deinen Startplatz übernimmt. Die Ummeldung kostete 12 Euro (15 Euro bei der Startnummernabholung) und war damit wesentlich günstiger als eine Neuanmeldung. Eine Ummeldung vom Salzburg 10K zum Salzburg Half war ebenfalls bis Donnerstag, 26. September (Aufpreis laut Nenngeld) sowie am 5. Oktober bei der Startnummernabholung (zu einer zusätzlichen Bearbeitungsgebühr von 5 Euro) möglich.
  • The minimum age for participation is those born in 2011.
  • We warmly recommend you to do a health check before participating!

Bib number collection & last-minute registration
  • Die Startnummernabholung findet am Samstag, 4. Oktober in der Hervis-Filiale im Einkaufszentrum „Forum 1“ (direkt beim Salzburger Hauptbahnhof) statt und zwar zwischen 9:30 und 18 Uhr.
  • Anyone who has not pre-registered will also have the opportunity to register last-minute, provided that bib numbers are still available.

Clothing drop-off & showers
  • Am Sonntag, 5. Oktober kannst du das mit deiner Startnummer versehene, offizielle Startersackerl der Salzburger Sparkasse bei den dafür vorgegebenen Zelten im Volksgarten abgeben – und zwar im Zeitraum zwischen 8 und 12 Uhr. Die Zelte werden vom Mitarbeiterteam betreut. Für Diebstähle und Verlust übernimmt der Veranstalter keine Haftung – mit der Bitte um dein Verständnis!
  • Die Duschen des Sportzentrum Mitte (Ulrike-Gschwandtner-Straße 6) sind am Sonntag, 5. Oktober von 9:45 bis 13 Uhr geöffnet. Sie sind in ca. 10min. Fußweg vom Volksgarten über die Karolinen Brücke und am Unipark vorbei erreichbar.

Arrival & Parking
  • We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
    • excellent train connections from the Westbahn line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol. Good connection to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
  • International accessibility via Salzburg Airport.
  • If you are arriving by car, we recommend using the Park & Ride zones on the outskirts of the city and changing to the trolleybus in the city area. There are paid parking garages near the city center.

Timing and scoring
  • Our partner Pentek Timing will take care of the timekeeping.
  • The timing chip is integrated in the bib number. It must not be damaged under any circumstances.
  • Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the bib number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.
  • In addition to the classic rankings (ranking according to gross times), the Salzburg 10K Jedermannlauf offers an age-graded ranking.

  • Der Startschuss für den Salzburg 10K Jedermannlauf fällt am 5. Oktober 2025 um 9:00 Uhr in der Hundertwasserallee im Volksgarten.
