The Jedermannlauf – Salzburg_10K is the perfect stage for you to test your form and skills on a fast and AIMS-measured 10km course! 

The natural Volksgarten area close to the city centre is the ideal venue for the traditional Salzburg City Run. The backdrop of the city of Mozart and the exclusive Jedermannlauf finisher medal complete a wonderful running experience. The Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K includes the SLV regional championships*.

* For participation in the SLV regional championships, an additional registration via the Athmin system of the Austrian Athletics Federation is necessary.

Start & finish in the Volksgarten

The start and finish of the Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K are located in the Volksgarten near the centre of Salzburg. After an initial lap through the Volksgarten, the route leads south along the Salzach and back through the centre on the opposite side. The turning points are the Hellbrunn Bridge in the south and the Karolinen Bridge in the north. The route is flat and has long straights. All courses at the Jedermannlauf are measured according to the specifications of World Athletics and the AIMS, and the event is also listed in the Global Calendar.

Registration & Information

  • Online registration for the Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K is closed. On-site registration is possible on Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm at the Hervis branch in the Forum 1 shopping centre and on Sunday from 7:15 am to 8:55 am in the Volksgarten.
  • Registration for participants in the Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K took place via the platform of our timekeeping partner Pentek Timing.
  • Entry fee/registration fee (all processing and service fees are included):
    30 Euro (until 27 July)
    35 Euro (until 24 August)
    40 Euro (until 28 September)
    60 euros (registration on site at the Hervis store in the "Forum 1" shopping centre)
    70 Euro (last-minute in the Volksgarten from 7.45 am)
    * For the SLV regional Championships an additional registration on the website of the Austrian Athletics Federation is necessary.
  • Re-registration is possible up to and including Thursday, 25 September 2025. Write to us at office@sportimpuls.at and give us the details of the runner who will take over your starting place. The re-registration costs 12 euros (15 euros at the start number collection) and was therefore much cheaper than a new registration. A transfer from Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K to other competitions is also possible until Thursday, 25 September (surcharge according to the entry fee) as well as on 4 October at the start number collection (for an additional processing fee of 5 euros).
  • The minimum age for participation is those born in 2011.
  • We warmly recommend one health check before your participation!

Bib number collection & last-minute registration

  • The race number collection will take place on Saturday, 4 October at the Hervis store in the "Forum 1" shopping centre (right next to Salzburg Central Station) between 9:30 am and 6 pm.
  • Anyone who has not pre-registered will also have the opportunity to register last-minute, provided that bib numbers are still available.
  • It is only possible to collect race numbers at the event site on Sunday 5 October in exceptional cases and on payment of 5 euros. Race number collection is only possible on Sunday from 7.15 am to 8.55 am.

Clothing drop-off & showers

  • On Sunday, 5 October, you can hand in the official Salzburger Sparkasse starter bag with your bib number at the designated tents in the Volksgarten between 8 am and 12 noon. The tents will be supervised by the staff team. The organiser accepts no liability for theft or loss - we ask for your understanding!
  • The showers at the Sportzentrum Mitte (Ulrike-Gschwandtner-Straße 6) will be open on Sunday, 5 October from 9:45 am to 1 pm. They are approx. 10min. You can reach them on foot from the Volksgarten via the Karolinen Bridge and past the Unipark.

  • At the JUFA Hotel Salzburg City, the official partner hotel of the Jedermannlauf, a feel-good stay close to the city centre is guaranteed. With a view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the JUFA Hotel Salzburg City is in a quiet location just a few minutes' walk from the start and finish area in the Volksgarten.

Charity Partner – Austrian Doctors

  • The Austrian Doctors are the official charity partner of the Jedermannlauf 2025.
  • With a contribution of just € 9.00 you can enable a child in Bangladesh to attend school for a month – school uniform, learning materials and a hot meal every day included.

Arrival & Parking

  • We recommend that you travel to Salzburg by public transport - relaxed, sustainable, sporty!
    • excellent train connections from the Westbahn line (from Vienna), from the Tauern line (south) and from Bavaria & Tyrol. Good connection to the international airports in Vienna and Munich.
  • International accessibility via Salzburg Airport.
  • If you are arriving by car, we recommend using the Park & Ride zones on the outskirts of the city and changing to the bus to city area. There are paid parking garages near the city center.

Timing and scoring

  • Our partner will take care of Pentek Timing carried out.
  • The timing chip is integrated in the bib number. It must not be damaged under any circumstances.
  • Timekeeping is guaranteed to work if the bib number is worn correctly on the front of the torso, outermost layer of clothing.
  • In addition to the classic rankings (ranking according to gross times), the Jedermannlauf offers an age-graded ranking.

Information about the start

  • The starting signal for the Jedermannlauf - Salzburg_10K will be given on 5 October 2025 at 9:00 am in Hundertwasserallee in the Volksgarten.
