Before the competition

How does the bib pick-up work?
  • We organise the collection of the bib numbers for the Altstadt GenussRun directly in the Volksgarten at the pavilion/kiosk
  • We are there for you from 10 am.
  • Please bring your start pass with you. We recommend „digital“ collection using the QR code to save on printing - as a small token for environmental protection.

Is it possible to register on site?
  • Yes, you can still register online or on site for the Altstadt Genuss Run until 14 May.

How does timekeeping work?
  • There is no timekeeping at the Altstadt GenussRun. The focus is on enjoying a beautiful day in the city.

At the competition

Where and when is the meeting point?
  • From 10 a.m. we welcome you at the pavilion in the Volksgarten with music and moderation.
  • The tour starts in waves. From 10.30 a.m., small groups set off on their exploration tour through Salzburg's historic city centre.

How do I know which stations I have to pass during the Altstadt GenussRun?

Take a photo of the QR code on the stand at the start. You will find navigation to the stations on the map. Floor markings and stands will also help you find your way around.

How can I transport the goodies?

You will receive a crossbody bag with the Salzburg Marathon branding before the start. Take it with you on your run and collect the goodies.

Do I have to pass all the stations on the Altstadt GenussRun?

There is enough time to walk through all the stations at your leisure and enjoy the activities. But it's up to you which goodies and experiences you include in your route.

Where does the Altstadt GenussRun end?
  • After you have visited the stations of your choice, ideally all of them, you run back to the starting point in the Volksgarten.

Where can I drop off my things?
  • You are welcome to leave your rucksack or bag in a tent supervised by our team of staff in the Volksgarten. We ask for your understanding that we assume no liability. Please do not leave any valuables behind.
