Important information spark7 Junior Marathon

Before the race

How does the bib pick-up work?

  • You can pick up your race number for the spark7 Junior Marathon on Friday, 12 June from 11 a.m. until one hour before the start of the race at the latest.
  • The start numbers will be handed out at the event area in the Volksgarten (near the kiosk, Ignaz-Rieder-Kai 1).
  • Schools and clubs receive the starting numbers in advance or have to collect them - the time can be arranged with our Team be arranged.
  • Only for individual registrations: Please bring your race pass with you to collect your race number. We recommend „digital“ collection using the QR code to save on printing - as a small token for environmental protection.

Is it possible to register on site?

  • No, the spark7 JuniorMarathon is completely sold out. Registration is closed.

How does timekeeping work?

  • A timekeeping chip is integrated into the bib numbers, which our timekeeping partner Datasport uses to measure the running times.
  • There are no additional costs for you, the timekeeping chip is included in the registration fee.
  • Very important: Please wear your bib number on the outermost layer of clothing on the front of your upper body and do not remove or damage the adhesive strips!
  • The bib number is your distinguishing feature during the race and therefore also serves your safety in an emergency. Good visibility on the chest is therefore very important.
  • Bib tapes are not permitted!
  • Please take four safety pins with you to attach your bib number when you collect it!

Which meeting points are suitable for schools and clubs?

  • On the event area in the Volksgarten.

Is parental accompaniment permitted?

  • Parents are only allowed to accompany children in the U6 age group (preferably in a sporty outfit, it's a run after all :)). We recommend an accompaniment - not leading the children.
  • We ask children who are accompanied by their parents to position themselves at the back of the starting grid. Children taking part without their parents will start at the front.
  • Parents are not required to accompany runners in ALL other age groups. The event site in the Volksgarten is very clearly laid out and the running course is well secured.

Where and how can I find my child again?

  • As soon as the children assemble in the pre-start area, they are guided through their run by the experienced event team.
  • After the finish line, they leave the running track in the direction of the event area. With the medal around their neck, the children are given a drink there.
  • From the finish catering area, a secure area, they are led to the exit - a channel bordered by bars. There, on the event area, is the ideal meeting point for parents and children.
