Arrival & Parking

Think about the environment when you travel to the Running festival of MozartCity. Together we can improve the ecological footprint of the event with targeted measures!

Start number and start pass as a free ticket for public transport

  • In a proven and excellent partnership with Salzburg Traffic your start number or start pass (which will be sent to you by e-mail a few days before the event) is valid as a ticket for public transport in the core zone of the city of Salzburg - from three hours before the start until the end of the race.
  • You can also travel to and from the race free of charge on the S3 railway line with your start number and start pass.
  • These two offers are valid from Friday, 16 May to Sunday, 18 May - depending on the competition.
  • This means you can travel to the start area in a relaxed and environmentally conscious manner and return home or to your hotel after the run just as relaxed and stress-free.

With the marathon train to Salzburg

  • The marathon train takes participants from the mountain regions safely and stress-free to the state capital on the day of the marathon.
  • It starts on 18 May at 5:54 am in Schwarzach, stops at all stations on the S3 railway line and arrives at Salzburg Altstadt/Mülln station at 7:14 am. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the pre-start area in Schwarzstraße.
  • The return journey is possible on all regional trains on 18 May. The start number is valid as a ticket for both the outward and return journeys.
