Your start number/start pass is valid as a ticket

• This offer in co-operation with Salzburg Traffic is valid for the respective application day without time restriction, namely for:
• the core zone of the city of Salzburg
• and the S3 railway line.

Ride the marathon train

• The marathon train takes our participants from Pongau and Tennengau to the provincial capital in a comfortable and sustainable way.
• Start: 5:26 am in Schwarzach/St. Veit
• Stop at all stations on the S3 railway line
• Arrival: 6:49 am in Salzburg, Mülln/Altstadt
• Your start number/start pass is valid as a ticket
• Return journey possible on 17 May with all Salzburg Verkehr regional trains.

Arrival by public transport in Mozart City

• Excellent connections to the national and international rail network!
• Both for arrival on the western route from Vienna or Linz (ÖBB, Westbahn), from Bavaria (ÖBB, DB, Meridian) or on the Tauern route from the south (ÖBB).

Arrival by car to Salzburg

• We recommend carpooling!
• We recommend choosing the Park & Ride options on the outskirts (Salzburg Süd, Messezentrum) and taking public transport to the city center.
• Public parking garages near the city centre (e.g. Mönchsberggarage). If you park in the Mönchsberg/Altstadtgarage on 15, 16 or 17 May, you can have your ticket punched at our information stand and benefit from cheaper rates.

International accessibility

• Salzburg Airport Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - effective connection to the city by public transport.
• International airports in Vienna and Munich, comfortable and fast onward journey by train to Salzburg.
