Das SALZ, opened by the entrepreneur couple Beate Pöckl & Fabian Vorderegger, presents itself as youthfully elegant and anything but conventional. The newly designed townhouse at Ignaz-Harrer-Str. 14 provides the necessary pinch of SALZ on vacation at first glance with its rooms - elegantly and tastefully furnished in seven categories by the Viennese BWM architects: In addition to the must-haves such as WiFi, Smart TV, air conditioning, opaque curtains and the like, there are also amazing extras that are worth exploring. From the Garden Studio with reading window and access to the guest garden to the perfect retreat in the Home Base or the Rooftop Retreat to the Putting Green Suite with a small mini golf course - every "curious soul" will find their favorite room in SALZ. The secret spots that not only the city of Salzburg has to offer beyond the Sound of Music include the telephone systems installed on every floor in SALZ: Hotel guests are provided with city tips and unknown and curious insights into the diversity of Salzburg via a soundtrack. The hotel becomes a relaxing backstage area, filled with all kinds of fine extras, before heading back out onto the “city of Salzburg” stage.

The townhouse from the 1920s, which was acquired by VO Immobilien in 2019 in a dilapidated state and completely remodeled, now shines as a new gem on Ignaz-Harrer-Straße. And sets a dynamic exclamation mark in the young, up-and-coming district of Lehen. Here the city is more colorful, hipper and less conventional - exactly the right terrain for travelers hungry for discovery off the beaten tourist track.
