Are you unable to take part in the 2027 Mozart City Running Festival for health reasons? If you selected the relevant option when registering, please contact our registration partner Datasport (annullierungsschutz@datasport.com) and provide a medical certificate. Please note: Cancellation protection is only available for individual registrations, not for collective or group registrations.

Alternatively, the Mozart City Running Festival offers a special re-registration service. You can transfer or sell your starting place yourself by finding another runner to take your place. You can arrange the transfer yourself using the relevant button on your registration confirmation. You’ll find it under „Change details“ in the „Participant swap“ section.

Changes of registration are free of charge until 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, a processing fee of €20 will be charged. This is significantly cheaper than the standard registration fee for new entries. Changes to registration must be submitted by 3 May 2027 at the latest.

Please note: ALL Any additional services booked – such as medal engraving, the purchase of Bib Bits or the functional T-shirt – will be transferred to the replacement runner. T-shirt sizes can still be changed, subject to availability. The starting block for the marathon and half-marathon must also be adjusted if necessary. However, cancellation cover is personal to the individual and lapses in the event of a change of registration.

Re-registration between applications

If you want to change from one event to another at short notice, this is no problem at all if you want to change from the PUMA Salzburg Marathon to the Sparkasse Half Marathon. Simply run to the finish line after one lap! You will automatically be included in the half marathon ranking and will receive your finisher's medal for the Sparkasse Half Marathon.

If you wish to switch to a different race, please notify the PUMA Salzburg Marathon secretariat in good time, by 3 May 2027 at the latest (office@salzburg-marathon.at). You will receive a new registration confirmation by e-mail and a new bib number. You have no right to a refund of the difference in registration fees.

Changes to a participant’s entry between races within the 24th PUMA Salzburg Marathon are free of charge up to and including 3 May 2027; however, if a participant switches to a race with a higher entry fee, the difference must, of course, be paid. After this date, re-registration is only possible as part of on-site registration. A re-registration fee of €10 will be charged; if re-registering for an event with a higher entry fee, the difference must also be paid.

Please note: If you change your registration for a competition, any insurance you have taken out expires, as this is related to both the person and the competition.
